About a month ago I reworked the radiant heating system that heats my shop. The old system used a tank type water heater that is in most everyone's homes. While the old system worked fine it seemed like I was burning to much propane. The old tank water heater never had enough hot water to last more than a half hour and couldn't heat the circulating water fast enough. Now with the new tankless miro boiler I have an endless supply of 140 degree water. Another plus is that it only runs when the thermostat says it needs heat. As a result I don't have to heat water that is on stand by all day. So hopefully the 400 gallons of propane that I used during last years harsh winter will be much less. Below are some pictures of the before and after and also a picture of the tubing that runs through the concrete.
